No Bench Press Plateaus Allowed

How Taylor took his 1RM bench press and did it for 4 reps

I’ve been working with Taylor on and off for about a year now.

In that time, he hit his first 300lb pause bench in July of 2022 after a good peak.

Recently we have gotten things dialed in again with an absolutely stunning bench cycle.

On his most recent heavy bench session, he took his old max for a ride and pulled off 4 solid reps. Leading up to this, he also hit 270*7 a couple weeks prior. He has also benched 315 with a pause previously.

This streak of PRs is no accident. Taylor is a damn hard worker and is EXTREMELY coachable. We keep an open line of communication and treat coaching as a collaborative process.
