Adding 99 lbs to Your Powerlifting Total in 3 Months – Marina Maxwell Athlete Profile

Marina added 45kg to her total and set new state records in just 3 months!

I’ve been coaching with Marina since the beginning of 2022 and she had her first meet on March 20th, 2022.

Since then, she’s put in a TON of work both for strength and technique on the lifts as we continue to refine out process.

A little over a week ago she just had her second meet (13 weeks after the first) at the North Carolina State Champs and here’s the progress she made from March to June:


  • Squat 115kg(253lbs)–>122.5kg(270lbs)
    • 3 months later she squatted 275×5
  • Bench 72.5kg(160)–>77.5kg(170lbs)
    • 3 months later she benched 185
  • Deadlift 122.5kg(270lbs)–>145kg(319 lbs)
    • 2 months later she pulled 315 for 10 singles with less than 1 minute rest.
  • Total 310kg(683 lbs)–>345kg(760 lbs)

In addition to the HUGE progress she’s made in just 3 short months, she now also holds a couple state records and we are lining up even more PRs for the end of the summer.
